What is Radiofrequency Microneedling?

Utilising microneedles to puncture the skins surface we can help to improve a variety of different skin concerns such as: textural and ageing concerns such as acne scars, skin laxity, stretch marks, open pores, and wrinkles. Radiofrequency microneedling helps to improve the overall appearance and rejuvenation of skin, through the delivery of heat to the deeper layers of skin, causes the collagen structures within these layers to tighten.

The radiofrequency energy, directs heat to the more superficial dermis and epidermis, simulating the production of collagen and elastin. The heat zones created helps with collagen induction, which begins to remodel and strengthen collagen cells to tighten the skin. By inducing thermal trauma to stimulate neocollagenesis (collagen production) in deep layers of the skin, creates stronger, firmer, and more lifted skin to help with concerns such as wrinkles and laxity.

The SMAS layer is immediately contracted without damage to the skin surface or surrounding tissues, this creates immediate tightening and lifting. As the skin’s wound healing response is triggered the skin naturally lifts, firms, and tightens over time. You will see that results continue to improve up to 12 weeks post treatment. Our HIFU technology can be adjusted to a range a depths, depending on your level of concern to reduce lines and wrinkles, crepeyness, laxity and excess fat.

What happens during a Focus Dual treatment?

●       Prior to treatment you will be invited in for a complimentary consultation, with one of aesthetic practitioners to discuss the areas you would like to treat, and the reasons for doing so. During this time, we will explain the treatment/ treatment plan in detail ensuring you fully understand the procedure.

●       If you wish to go ahead with the treatment, we will double cleanse the treatment area

●       The handpiece will then be placed on the skin in the target area directly on the skin. If you select to undergo HIFU treatment, the area will be marked in order to define the areas for treatment.

●       Once the treatment is complete, post-treatment serum Light Soothe and Light Protect SPF 50 is applied to help soothe the skin and aid its recovery.

●       Full results can be seen 12 weeks after the final treatment
